Kathleen: The Traveling Yogini Instructor

Kathleen Ploussard’s approach to yoga is to make it accessible and safe for anyone to practice.  She teaches by the motto: “If you’re breathing, you can do yoga, and I will come to your location to help with your practice”

She is a 200 hour registered yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance.  She also received 50 hours of additional intensive training from Duke University’s Integrative Medicine (Durham, NC) in teaching therapeutic yoga to anyone over the age of 50. She has designed and taught a special 6 week teen workshop for stress reduction.

Currently she is teaching yoga classes at Emory Wesley Woods and Branan Towers (Atlanta, GA), as well as at The Yoga Source (Snellville, GA)

Prior to teaching yoga and taking time off to stay home and raise her children, she worked in government affairs officer at Wayne State University (Detroit, MI) and on Capitol Hill (Washington, DC).

Her dream is to one day return to Washington and teach the benefits of yoga, meditation and compromise to members of the legislative and executive branches of government.
